Bidding
To ensure a fair and transparent auction, we follow fixed bidding increments. These increments determine how much each bid increases at a time, depending on the current price. The bidding sequence ensures the auction runs quickly while giving all participants equal terms.
How Bidding Works
-
You can place bids at LIVE auctions by attending in person, via “live bidding” on our website, or through commission bids.
-
You can place bids at ONLINE auctions through the website while the auction is ongoing or by submitting a maximum bid in advance.
-
Each bid must be higher than the previous one according to the established bidding increments.
-
At LIVE auctions, the Auctioneer determines the final hammer price when no further bids are received.
-
At ONLINE auctions, the system determines the final hammer price when no further bids are received.
-
It is your responsibility as a bidder to stay aware of the current bid level and react in time.
