To ensure a correct and lawful handover of all types of weapons — including firearms and bladed weapons — the following rules apply when collecting your purchase in our Auction House:

IDENTIFICATION

When collecting your item, you must present valid and original photo identification. We request the following IDs:

• Passport or Driver's Licence (photo-ID)
• Health Insurance Card or other kind of address ID.

All identification must be valid on the day of collection and must belong to the person listed as the buyer.

PERMIT REQUIREMENTS

For any weapons that requires a permit, you must bring:

• A valid original bladed weapon permit, or
• The relevant weapon permit issued by the police

The permit must correspond to the specific weapon you are collectin and must be correctly completed.

PERSONAL COLLECTION ONLY

Weapons can generally only be collected by the person named on the invoice and on the permit. Alternatively, an authorised courier service licensed to handle weapons, such as JH Packman, may collect the item on your behalf. The courier must have your weapon permit, and you must also send a copy along with valid ID to Svendborg Auktionerne. 

VERIFICATION AND REGISTRATION

At the time of collection, we will carry out legally required cheks of your identity and permit documentation. The weapon will only be registered as delivered once all information has been successfully verified.

MISSING DOCUMENTATION

If you are unable to provide valid documentation, we will not be able to hand over the weapon.
